I've seen too many situations where the business has said "Here's what we want the new organisation to look like, now make the business process work around that". This is the same as saying "Here's the amount of money we want to waste through thoughtless decision making, now who's going to set that pile of cash on fire". Process must always drive everything. Understand your process THEN understand what resourcing you need, THEN understand how that resource will be organised It's the only way. Good post!
